It's pretty darn nice so far.Nothing else would have worked because, most everything selling now are these huge, tall faucet's that would have been massive overkill in my little kitchen. It fits in well with my kitchen and sink, it was easy to install and it functions great.Good price for a nice faucet with sprayer.Low-cost and reliable. May not be designed for disassembly or parts replacement (except maybe sprayer/hose sub-assembly).Easy to installI worked five years for a plumbing supply company and had hands on experience with many different brands of faucets. The Peerless for this review replaced a 7 year old perpetually leaking Wolverine Brass high end kitchen faucet. It had been apart many times to replace the cartridge that lasted about a year before leaking. The Delta product has plastic three foot pex supply lines, way too long. The closest Delta to the purchased Peerless lists on Amazon for about $ 160.00. I believe Peerless is owned by Delta. Go figure, because the supply lines are COPPER and only about 6 inches long meaning my existing supply lines from the house shut off valves could be used without all that stupid plastic flopping around under the sink interfering with the spray hose. And yes, the hose nozzle is black, but it is the only plastic piece, including hose, that is not metal. Even the escutcheon [base plate] is apparently stainless steel. And the pressure from the spout appears greater than the Wolverine Brass 'made in America' BS read China.Hey, $ 38.00, the online reviews other than Amazon are excellent as well as customer service. Look up reviews for the other popular names in faucets, not too good. So if you can live with 1980's styling but crave reliability this is it.After 7 years living in our new home our kitchen faucet passed on to kitchen heaven. Fast two day delivery about 2PM.Took off the old faucet about an hour before the new one came and was glad I could rest after getting the old one off. Being 65 makes it a little harder to get up and down from under the sink. Probably the hardest part of the job was putting WD 40 on the hot/cold knobs connecting to the water supply, unsticking the water knobs, and removing the old faucet. Then after another cup of coffee I opened the box to check to see all the parts were there. Success! All the parts were there. Took about 15 minutes for the actual install, about 1 1/2 hours to prep and remove the old faucet, install the new faucet and sprayer, and clean up the mess. Make sure you use Teflon tape on the threads of the pipes. Oh I used the original water supply hoses, because they didn't leak and I was careful to remove it from the old faucet. No leaks, and the water pressure was great. Even the sprayer was awesome (cool quick snap together connectors to the sprayer) giving a fair amount of pressure to clean dishes and the sink. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a new kitchen faucet with sprayer. And the price was right. Thank you Peerless for an awesome product.I wanted to like this faucet. It fit our needs. It had copper fittings and the spray worked nicely. The problem was it made a big clunk every time you turned it on or adjusted it. Our plumbing was checked and it is not our pipes. After some research it was determined to be the diverter in the faucet itself. We have seen other reviews of this faucet that had the same problem. It is hard to believe that this problemwas unknown to Peerless. The home we moved into had a nice looking kitchen faucet and sink. Because the house has soft water the faucet looked great, but, we were used to a sprayer in our old home and wanted another. The sink had a hole for a soap dispenser and we wanted to keep that, so this faucet with a deck-mounted sprayer filled the bill.I've installed quite a few faucets in my time and as I get older the thought of crawling in a cabinet and reaching up to hard to reach fittings, using awkward to adjust wrenches, leaves me cold. This setup installs with just a screwdriver! I attached new hoses to the faucet before threading it down through the center hole in the sink, then you slip the holding assembly over the valve body and spin it up into place with the valve body nut. When the nut is finger-tight on the holding plate, you use a screw-driver to suck the faucet tight on it's gasket (didn't need to use caulk either). All else is hand-tighten and the spray hose snaps onto it's fitting. It's a solid quality item, looks great and likely the last kitchen faucet I install in this house.has not leaked on me yet, I did make sure to use teflon tape and didn't "over tighten"This was a direct replacement for my RV Faucet, which was plastic Peice of $#!^I'm not dissatisfied.. but I was kinda hoping for a "flat" style base, this one is ever so slightly rounded/domed. Eh.I chose the "chrome" finish, because the satin one was the wrong match.. and the white one.. well, looks plastic and dainty. I need something that won't just "snap" when man hands touch it.I also got this style specifically because it has a "hole" in the base pre-drilled, which will eventually house my water filter nozzle/sprayer for my RO system without having to "alter" my countertop or sinkMeasure your holes, I measure... This one was 10 inches.. make sure it fits.My initial review is following the longer term assessment. I bought this tap in 2021. The base is already broken…I will never buy this brand again…at any price. The tap was very similar to the delta faucet it replaced. So similar, I was able to use my existing sink hose and keep the black faucet from new Peerless as back up. The Peerless comes with a black plastic faucet...this is fine. I noticed the hose is smaller diameter and shorter. A soak in vinegar brought the old one up to snuff. The clip on the hose needs a wide mouth plier to remove if you need to service or replace. As long as you have a good video and some time to think it through not difficult to install. Some one mentioned pulling the hoses up through the central sink hole to do the assembly. Use white plumbers tape to prevent leaks. Parts not included: the left bolt nut under hot faucet, under sink hoses to connect cold and hot water sources, 29 year old body or younger to contort under sink trap. The hose for this tap is too stiff, yarding it in and putting it back will loosen the tap from the counter. I am expecting it to soon break and just float on the counter rather then be fixed to it. They use one of those clear plastic hoses with the white fiberglass strands running through it. They should have used a soft rubber hose, and wrapped it in a woven fiberglass jacket. This would have people purchase from you again. Peerless is not a cheap off brand company. I would not trust them when buying more expensive fixtures. In less than a year this faucet started moving around every time the faucet was lifted. I discovered that the threads on hose fitting were stripped and would not tighten. Shortly after they started leaking around the base. I contacted the manufacturer about it. They asked for more information and some pictures, which I sent. Never heard back so I contacted them again for a follow-up and have been ignored.Seems poorly built and with such poor customer service not worth risking your money on these. We bought this faucet for a laundry sink which we use for making wine. We have an attachment that screws on the spout to spray water in bottles and carboys. The attachment has a valve to stop the spray when there is no bottle on it and causes back pressure in the spout. When there is back pressure, water sprays out the side of the spout. The plastic pieces that make the top and bottom of the spout were welded together poorly. It may be fine for occasional use but not for this type of use. Also, there is very little adjustment between hot and cold. If the handle is a little to the left of centre, the water comes out hot, not warm. Likewise with cold.Spend the extra money and get a name brand faucet.
