Standard garbage disposal flange is less than 2 inches this is about 4 will not screw on. I'm curious to know how the other reviewer us doing with his since he had to modify it?Matches our sink perfectly.Pretty and functional however, it is important to note that the flange is longer, which is to be expected given that it has the deep basket but keep that in mind when purchasing because it will require you to modify the plumbing and possibly even space below as it will drop the garbage disposal down by a few inches. Also, this is VERY thin copper plating or coloring and is only copper plated on the outwardly visible parts however, what's under the copper plating is very pretty too so unless you are dead set on that rich copper color, it still looks great plus, remember that real copper will quickly tarnish and turn green whereas this will not.
