Better than expectedBought this for a customer that I installed a flat black kitchen faucet plate so I got this to match. Went in easily and matched the faucet plate in color. Customer was very pleased.The threaded bolt is not the length list in the description. I have a 3 CM thick granite countertop which is almost 1-1/4” thick. And I was barely able to to get them nut on to tighten them up. By the dimensions list I should have had 1/2” more then what I needed.Excellent product. I compared two other hole covers available on Amazon. This is the best. It is precision and solid made. It is a piece of art work. The cell phone camera could not fully and faithfully capture the light, color, and reflection. Good job, Kingston Brass.I needed 3 of these in oil-rubbed bronze, my first order had one in the correct color and two in brushed nickel instead. The correct one was perfect for what I needed, so I attempted two more times to get the right color for the other two. No luck, I gave up and ordered directly from the manufacturer.Usually anything pressure fit has some kind of barrier to prevent metal on metal, or metal on paint in our case.This has nothing.. Direct finished metal to surface, with a force fitting underneath.It's kind of fine if you're just making good and covering over rusty holes, but anyone who's removed an old sink fitting will know, eventually it isn't fine.Our sink is an old 3 hole where we're re-using two, and need to just cover one. The sink has some chips and the holes the old fitting was on was rusty too, so this is fine as a cover up.It doesn't quite match the brushed nickel finish. It's a bit too shiny for that.Needed a larger faucet hole cover after removing a soap pump that we do not use. Ordered online as there were too many restrictions in store when we needed this due to covid. It's a bit thinner than I would have liked, but it seems to work fine. I did use a silicon washer to go under it to provide a better waterproof seal. It's been several months now and seems to be holding up great.I have another one of these in my counter and this particular product is a little bigger and thinner than my older one. But this actually says faucet hole cover, so it will cover a faucet hole. The hole I am covering is from a water filtration system. But for the price I could not complain. It is better than leaving a hole in the granite. You need a second person to help you install since one of you needs to be under the counter and the other person holding the top on the counter as you screw it on.Not black but darker than chrome.Had a hole next to the faucet when we took out an old soap dispenser. This patched it up nicely. There is no rubber gasket but it does not look like any water gets through.Colour does not match the sink 100% but it is close enough that we are happy with it.Color is nickel, not dark enough will need to return.
