NOTE: bought this because it:A. had a long extend hose, not a fixed length as some with no extend. Look carefully and compare.B. faucet sits 7" above base of counter, vs 3" on some others, which would always be in the way. Compare.Happy it works well day one, 8 minute to remove old, 4 min to install this with basic channel locks or pliers, to tighten (and hardes was to loosen old). Phillips for the set screws and nice heavy weight it comes with.I did not bother undoing the quick connect, waste of time and less chance problem when reconnected, the looped end was flex enough to make it through hole of sink without disconnecting.Instructions more or less worthless. Would be nice to have a blow up for where the washers belong, (insert in diagram that shows washers in relation to counter, but : Apparently one rubber on top of sink is inset into unit, so kept that as it came and was the only one i used on top of sink.Under sink the rubber first next to counter, then the small metal washer, then large metal washer, then the screw on nut, tighten it under sink best you can with faucet about 1/4 turn from where you want it on top. THEN hold bottom nut and twist faucet on top to final position to tighten completely, great "pro trick" we use folks. The final underside nut is nice as it comes with two set screws to screw into the large metal washer, nice design.Lastly, position weight on the hose by trial and error before tightening all the way, so hose will allow hose extend to length you want when pulling it out of seated position above sink (extendable to the bottom sink was good for us), then tighten up weight in that position. If not careful, might tighten it to close to the top and will stop hose from extending. Likewise, weight position should still be high enough up to allow gravity of weight to give tension, not to close to the bottom of the loop of extra hose, so it will tighten up nicely to the normal position of the head above, in its swiveling hold bracket. Common sense, but may help some, where instruction are weak.Jerry Envirodesigns Custom Homes, Solar Homes, LLC , Tucson Vacation Rentals, Tucson, AZAll in all, great product, and we shall see how long it lasts. Stainless hose started leaking after 15 years on our old $300 unit originally installed 2005. Happy with theAt this price, buy a few and if you need to replace a leaking part later, just toss and use a new unit !
