No drain kit or strainer basket 500.00 and now I have to spend more money ? I’m beyond angry I’m livid!!!!This solved several problems that we had with the old faucet. It's about 10" tall so our plantation shutters don't hit it like they did the old one. The handle operation has much more resolution than the old one, so you can get cool, lukewarm, warm, warmer or hot water and keep that setting while adjusting the flow. Up and down controls temp, side to side adjusts flow. The handle operation alone is worth the price of admission! Also $60 less than Iowes.I just love it, perfect for my farmhouse sink.I had some one install it so I have no advice on that.I chose this faucet because I wanted a pull out faucet and it had the right look I wanted for my island sink. I didn't want a high arching faucet and I wanted something a little old fashioned looking and this fit the bill. It is quite lovely. However, the wand was always very difficult to remove and replace and after about a year you couldn't even get it to seat anymore. We called Delta who sent us a replacement. Within a few months that one was acting up, we've hobbled along for another another year and its completely impossible to seat it again, and this is with us forbidding the kids from pulling it out this go round. The fact that it won't seat well means that if you need to use it a lot you tend not to push it all the way back in because it won't go without force, and its hard to do if your hands are wet as well. Then I've noticed that people tend to rest their hand on the top of the faucet a lot and I think because it won't go all the way in it gets leaned on when its only partially seated which bends it more, if it weren't so hard to get back in I'd call that our fault, but since it is it's just going to happen. If you will only pull it out rarely its probably fine to purchase this, but if you have a full house and use the kitchen a lot and need the spray feature then this faucet is not a good option. I wish I'd had somewhere to try it out before buying it because I never would have. I'm trying to contact Delta right now to see if they'll replace it again. I really need to spend some time researching and just find a new faucet, because I know a new one is only a temporary fix at this point.I am remodeling my kitchen in a Classic style and did not want the modern stainless faucets that everyone is installing. My new cabinets will have the Champagne handles so I decided to do the faucet to match the handles. I love the look and how it functions. Yes expensive but so are the new cabinets. This is lovely, and in my kitchen the appropriate size. I love the style and the finish, and it's easy to install. I'm a girl who figured this out by herself. In fact, taking the old faucet out was way harder than the install of this new one. I give 4 stars for ease of install and beauty, but I do feel the price is high for the quality. I know these things are never inexpensive, but it's a little steep in my opinion. Also, the pull out function is really tough, and I'm hoping with use it will become easier to pull out and re-dock into the faucet head.Probably my fault --but the final cost I was charged I am pretty sure was (quite a bit) higher that when I put in cart. I was buying many things online and I know that when I found this particular one it was less expensive than the other 2 (from other places) that I'd found. My account is linked to my Amazon card, I didnt look at the final cart price. It was all of a sudden that I needed NOW, so I finalized my cart in a hurry (I know..I dont EVER do that--but quarantine has you do things you typically wouldn't) It wasnt until after install that I went to print out receipt for our remodel records--I thought, 'I'd never spend that much on a faucet'...Besides cost--I do love the faucet though. The sprayer works well, it retracts easily and the control is easy to use. It is a beautiful facet and looks great with my farmhouse sinkWe have had two of these faucets in our home (kitchen and laundry room) since 2014 and they are both still working and looking great! They are both used many times daily. My only complaint (which from recent reviews has apparently changed to a magnet since we purchased) is that there is an o-ring in the sprayer part that disconnects & it leaves a little gap since we do not force it back in. It seems to swell after using for a while and we have replaced it a few times. Other than that, we love these faucets & hope they last many more years. The finish on this faucet is so beautiful! Its like jewellery in my kitchen. It doesn't match the other satin nickel finishes around my sink (soap dispenser and drinking faucet) so will look to try to match those up. I chose this faucet because of a poorly design window above my sink where there isn't much clearance to allow for your typical gooseneck faucet. It feels very well made, and looks much more expensive than it is. Not saying it was cheap, it wasn't but to me, worth every penny! There wasn't much choice in a faucet shorter than 11" so happy I found this.I love the old-fashioned look of this beautiful polished-nickel faucet. I wasn't sure if it might be too over-the-top when I ordered it, but it definitely isn't. It's just classy and elegant. The pull-out front is a feature worth having because it makes it so much easier to rinse out your sink, especially if you have a large rectangular farm sink. The toggle from spray to regular stream works well. I can't imagine a nicer kitchen faucet. The description clearly says the pullout sprayer is magnetic butbthat claim is false. The other Cassidy model that has more of a swan neck has a pulldown spout that is magnetically secured but the PULLOUT version in the Cassidy line is only held inplace with friction.I won't say this is deliberately misleading but it is extremely careless and irresponsible. Even the description on the Delta website indicates the pullout Cassidy kitchen faucet is magnetic.I would have returned the item but I had already installed it which, in my case, involved cutting the flexible PEX hoses to suit my installation. It is very nice looking and functions well but I was expecting the security and longevity of a magnetic spout.Installation is pretty easy. Product itself is no more than 200 dollars CAD. It make squeaky noise when you turn the handle. The middle pivot doesn't turn uniformly (it lifts up little bit). The shower handle is so flimsy and hard to put ot back on. I would not recommend it.Received the faucet quickly but realized after receiving that it does not come with the Escutcheon that is in one of the pictures, I thought at first it was missing but after a closer look at the picture it says in small print at the bottom that it is a separate item. Found and ordered it but take note that if you are ordering for a 3 hole sink it’s an extra $80 or so for the plate. I haven’t hooked it up yet but the faucet looks nice.
